nat works in digital & print media. She studied English Literature at UCLA and, upon graduating summa cum laude, began working at some of Los Angeles' most storied indie bookstores. A fourth-generation Angeleno and first-generation college graduate, nat has spent years in the city's literary scene, from managing Chevalier's Books—LA's oldest indie bookshop—to completing a fellowship at LARB's publishing workshop.
In-between creating print collages, experimenting with mixed media, and running a books-to-prisons program, nat works as a teaching artist and leads zine workshops for all ages. With over a decade of teaching experience, she is passionate about creating tangible art and supporting her local communities. Now based out of Downeast Maine, a small garden and a growing family of animals have also entered the picture. You can view her fairy homes here.
